DAY 1: Flat Belly Diet

Welcome to everyone visitng from Kelly's Korner. I'm loving reading all the great tips you guys have!

Today is Day 1 of my Flat Belly Diet experiment to get rid of my GI issues and help me get back to a size 4.

This morning I took my measurements and even more unflattering pictures and boy were they SCARY!

Not wanting to hide anything (well besides the even more unflattering pictures), here they are:

Height: 5'9"
Current Weight: 150 lbs.
BMI: 22.1

And now the numbers that made me shout YIKES and want hide under the covers. But, that wouldn't fix the issues or lead to a size 4, so press on I must.

THIGHS
Right: 23.5"
Left: 23.0"

CALVES
Right: 14.5"
Left: 14.0"

BUTTOCKS (I knew I had junk in the trunk, but not quite this much!)
40.5" (a good 1.5" inches more at least than I had when we got married...I blame the hubby since he's the one who has had a serious impact on my lack of time to workout and the increase in tv watching!)

STOMACH (I included the full on bloat from my GI issues I was experiencing this AM)
34.5"

WAIST
29"

CHEST
36.5"

ARMS
Right: 11.75"
Left: 11.5"

What is it with my right side being slightly bigger than my left?

For breakfast I had 1 cup frozen blueberries and 1 cup skim milk mixed together in a blender and 1 T sunflower seeds. I was so proud of myself when I did not enjoy a piece of the lemon poppyseed cake I made with lemon sauce for a birthday at work this morning.

Right now, I'm enjoying cornflakes, milk, sunflower seeds and applesauce for my mid morning snack.

I'll keep you posted how things progress throughout the day, but so far so good!
